Classes & Education
One of our greatest joys is teaching people about coffee and training new baristas! We love to introduce people to the complex and exciting world of coffee, tea and syrup! Come in for a quick tour, a tasting of our delicious craft syrup, specialty coffee and tea, or commit to learning how to brew the best cup, at home or for the professional.

SCA Classes
Red Rooster hosts one of only two (2) Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Certificate Training Campuses in the State of Virginia. Our SCA courses are taught on-site by Grace McCutchan, an Authorized SCA Trainer (AST). ASTs are professional trainers with the career experience and broad coffee knowledge to deliver quality courses that benefit both the learner and the industry.
SCA classes are available as they become scheduled. If you are interested in attending a course that is not currently scheduled, please contact Grace directly (grace@redroostercoffeeroaster.com) to discuss scheduling a course.
All SCA courses require a minimum enrollment of 2 students and can accommodate a maximum of 4 students.
